Mark is a strategically minded senior executive with broad business knowledge and diverse industry experience across sectors including mining, mining services, professional services, property and media.
Mark joined Xenith in 2019, having previously led both public and private companies at CEO, Consulting CEO and Director levels.
An accountant by profession, Mark’s background includes senior finance and executive appointments at Network 10 (Sydney and Brisbane) and a role as Director – Strategy and Corporate Development at the Ray White Group, where he gained priceless entrepreneurial insights from Chairman Brian White, the grandson of Ray White.
Mark also spent many years as a CEO, consultant and corporate adviser for major contractors to the resources and infrastructure sectors – the Swift Group and Walz Group.
With an intimate understanding of the key ‘enterprise capital’ attributes which drive organisational value and performance, Mark has extensive experience in strategic business planning, financial management and reporting, performance analysis and measurement, merger/acquisition transactions and all facets of corporate governance, sales and marketing, business development and human resource management.
In addition to his contributions as a Director at Xenith, Mark is also heavily involved in a range of other special projects that propel the company forward on its growth and diversification trajectory. These include mentoring some of the Xenith management through due diligence and acquisition processes, corporate rebranding and strategic investment advice.
Thanks to his decades of diverse corporate experience, Mark brings to Xenith the best of both worlds: business structure and integrity as well as entrepreneurial agility.
He is a keen supporter of Xenith’s evolution and progress towards a broader value proposition for clients in response to the opportunities presented by the net zero economy.
Mark lives in Brisbane and has two daughters and two grandchildren. He is a regular at the gym and wellness centre owned by one of his daughters.
