Burton is Back!

A big day for Bowen Coking Coal (ASX:BCB) and a proud one for Xenith! 

Xenith has been assisting Bowen with the purchase and planning of the Burton complex since 2020.  

Xenith’s Managing Director Troy Turner and Consulting Team Manager James Porter feel privileged to have been invited to mark this historic milestone in the development of Bowen Coking Coal into a significant coal producer in Queensland. 

In addition to attending the formal proceedings, Troy and James also saw for themselves a 400-tonne excavator operated by BUMA commencing the initial drop cut from ground level into the Ellensfield South Pit. The final stop in the site tour was at the Broadmeadow East Mine, where three excavator fleets are employed in waste and coal production. 

We celebrate the huge effort put in by Nick, Gerhard, Mike and many others in the Bowen team in transforming this dream into reality, including their  fresh approach to maintaining excellent relationships with local stakeholders including the Traditional Owners, Local Government and also many Queensland businesses.
