Paul’s professional expertise is in the design, planning and costing of open pit coal mines, and he has had considerable international exposure to a large number of mines operating with different equipment and seam configurations. He has worked on over 100 different open cut coal mines. He is a “Competent Person” as defined in the JORC Code and has signed many JORC Statements. In addition, he has significant experience as an “Independent Technical Expert” and has prepared or had input into many Due Diligence, Valuation and IPO reports. A particular strength is his ability to grasp the ‘bigger picture’ by comprehending the key technical and economic issues, and opportunities that impact on a project’s value. He has 40 years of hands on mine planning experience with extensive overseas experience.

With an intimate understanding of the key ‘enterprise capital’ attributes which drive organisational value and performance, Mark has extensive experience in strategic business planning, financial management and reporting, performance analysis and measurement, merger / acquisition transactions, and all facets of corporate governance, sales and marketing, business development, and human resource management.

Troy Turner, Managing Director


Troy Turner is a Mining Professional with over 20 years’ experience, and a strong combination of multi-disciplinary technical skills, resource geology expertise and business management acumen. Troy has overall responsibility for the operation of the 3 Xenith offices, as well as project managing some strategic consulting projects for key clients. Troy has previously led the Xenith geology function for over 10 years specialising in exploration program planning, resource estimation, and due-diligence mining studies as well as being a highly regarded qualified competent person under the JORC code.

Rob Stephenson

Rob Stephenson, Chief Financial Officer


With over 20 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Management Reporting and Consulting within the coal, iron ore and steel industries, Rob’s expertise encompasses Project Evaluation, Due Diligence, Mine Optimisation and Management Reporting. As a Consultant, Rob has delivered quality Business Analysis services ranging from the compilation and review of site-based capital projects to analysis of detailed financial models for major mining projects. Rob now covers the CFO role for Xenith and is deeply involved in managing the business and Board matters.
