Case Study
Xenith recently managed and delivered a turnkey coal exploration program in the northern Bowen Basin. The Xenith team acted as Coal Mine Operator and Senior Site Executive for the project which included complex landowner negotiations; health and safety requirements; statutory notifications; program planning; data acquisition; rehabilitation of the drill sites; and delivery of the final JORC statement.
The intricacies of the program were such that for the first time in 25 years of exploration in Queensland we were required to not only operate with above ground sumps but to remove all waste from the site to a third-party location; an extremely difficult requirement given geographical location of the site.
All conduct and compensation agreements as well as statutory obligations for the project were met and the geological program was delivered on time.
Xenith continues to act as CMO and SSE for multiple clients.
