Brent has been involved in coal exploration project management, for BMA (BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance), CS Energy, Shenhua Watermark Australia, and Stanmore Coal. Brent specialises in the planning of coal exploration programs including managing site access and contractors, ensuring contractual obligations are met by all subcontractors and making technical decisions relevant to the investigation.

Jorham is a geologist with experience in exploration, basin modelling and resource estimation.

After starting his career in Petroleum Geology and Engineering in the oil industry in Venezuela, Jorham moved to Germany in 2004 and specialized in basin modelling and integrated reservoir analysis. He carried out a variety of industry and research projects in Germany, Norway and Brazil, and completed a PhD degree in 2011. The same year Jorham moved to Australia and since then he has further developed his expertise through working in a variety of roles in Australia, Mozambique and Pakistan including management of exploration programs, geological modelling, resource evaluation and reporting.

Cheryl Holz is a Geologist with over 25 years’ experience working in the coal mining industry in the Sydney Basin at Lemington, Dartbrook, Bengalla and Drayton.

She has also worked on deposits in the Collie Basin, Galillee Basin, Bowen Basin and Gloucester Basin completing both geological modelling, mine design and optimisation. Cheryl has extensive Minex experience modelling complex geology and has been responsible for resource risk assessment, exploration planning and justification, short-term coal quality scheduling and incorporation of in pit structural mapping into geological models. Cheryl is a qualified competent person under the JORC code and is a member of the executive on the Coalfield Geology Council of NSW.

Iain Miller is a highly experienced geologist in exploration and resource estimation.

Iain started his career in 2002 as an exploration geologist in the Bowen Basin and has also spent time in the Gobi desert of Mongolia managing and running a successful green field coal exploration project. Iain moved to Canada in 2007 to expand his geological knowledge and was involved with surface and underground exploration for Ni, Cu and PGE’s in the Sudbury Basin and northern Manitoba. In 2011 Iain moved into a resource geology role to develop his 3D geological and block modelling skills, working on a range of commodities and projects throughout Canada and around the world. Iain has also worked in the United Kingdom as a geotechnical and environmental specialist. During his time at Xenith Consulting, he has completed resource estimations and consolidated his geological modelling skill sets and is proficient in the use of Minescape. Iain has worked on a variety of projects in Queensland and South Australia while at Xenith as well as assisting with projects in Mongolia and Mozambique.

Michael has worked on a wide range of projects, largely in open cut coal, both domestically and abroad. During this time, Michael has demonstrated excellent proficiency in deposit characterising, ROM modelling, pit optimising, pit designing, pit and dump scheduling, haulage modelling, equipment selection, and cost modelling. More recently, Michael has had experience training Clients in Spry software and helping to implement mine planning processes on site. He has also designed and implemented mine planning systems and customised specific software solutions to suit various mine planning and operational complexities in the 24 years he provided high end consulting services globally. James was awarded the Glencore Mining Engineering Scholarship and worked in Ulan No.3 and Bulga Open Cut as a part of the scholarship program. James has previously worked as a short-term planner (truck and excavator) at Maules Creek and has a track record of improving efficiency, a natural ability to learn new software and work with data and is highly motivated to produce successful outcomes and high-quality output.
