Xenith Consulting has recently completed a noise assessment for a new quarry. The work involved measuring actual equipment (fixed and mobile plant) noise levels, modelling the operation’s noise levels to confirm compliance with approved licence limits, investigating future equipment upgrade options, and preparing a Noise Management Plan for submission to the regulators.

Xenith Consulting recently prepared a PM10 dust model for a proposed coal mine. The model was used to identify the number of days that the operation would potentially be non-compliant at receptors, modelling options to reduce dust levels at non-compliant locations, and to identify the potential land purchases for the prefeasibility stage report.
