Xenith was given the fantastic opportunity to participate in the UQ School of Environment (SENV) Industry Night event.
The networking event provided a valuable conduit for current UQ students to engage with industry representatives to gain a better understanding of the different pathways into their future careers and ways to enhance their employment opportunities.
As a Sponsor of University of Queensland (UQ) Geoscience Society, Xenith was given the fantastic opportunity to participate in the UQ School of Environment (SENV) Industry Night event.
Sean Macdonald (Specialist Lead – Environment), Daniel Hamilton (Senior Environmental Scientist) and Will Blakeney (Graduate Environmental Scientist) attended the event on behalf of Xenith Consulting and enjoyed many meaningful discussions with aspiring students and industry delegates alike. The Environment team held a stall on the main exhibition fl. oor, presented to the UQ Geoscience Society (UQGS) and hosted an open Q&A session to follow up.
Xenith was proud to be part of the event as it was an excellent platform to field perceptive questions and share industry insights with budding professionals from various disciplines. Xenith would like to thank both SENV and UQGS for their successful promotion of the evening and Mikaelah Egan (UQGS) for coordinating our involvement. Xenith looks forward to continuing stimulating and beneficial engagement with UQ’s faculties.
